Team East MVP's Mike Koziarz and Matt Villano took all 3 points in their key match-up against Greg Cozine and Jerry Cozine. It was a tough match up pitting two Hampton Hills members (Digger & Vallano) against the Cozine brothers. In another critical match Team East Captain Ryan Fay and Founding Father Chris Hudson beat Team West Founding Father Justin Sheehan and Jason Crank. Team West did have some highlights though. After winning the front 9 Team East collapsed letting Team West take the back and overall winning 2.5 - .5. Team West's James Combs and Mike Combs were welcomed back this year. However, Team East's Wayne Swiatocha and John Furguson welcomed them back with a good @ss kicking 2.5 - .5

The only true highlight of the day was Team West once again dominating Single ball. In the 10 year history Team West has never lost Single Ball. However, taking 20 of a possible 30 points wasn't enough leaving team West with a 5.5 point differential. A valid effort put falling short. Team East did have some highlights #1 Seed TJ Jankowski took out Team West's #1 seed Vince Scheraldi 3-0 and Chip Koonman took out Team West Rookie Brad Cemillere 2.5 - .5. However, Team West dominated with Timmy Brennan, Richard Sied, Evans Killeen, Mitch Pineault, Larry Citarelli, all taking 3 points. Final Recap:
Thank you to everyone that played this year. We had the biggest Classic to date with 92 players. Thanks to Hampton Hills for offering a great venue. The course was in perfect condition and the after party was a lot of fun. I hope you all enjoyed the bagpiper and DJ adding that special touch to the 10 year anniversary. Thanks to all our sponsors and everyone that helps make this day special. All the founding fathers and the guys that step up every year to help out. We know we’re not perfect and will continue to look for ways to improve the Classic. I for one am looking forward to the next decade! What will the 20th anniversary look like! We might all be in wheelchairs!
